Georgetown Cupcake-83 Newbury Street, Boston, MA

Two blogs posts in one day? That means my belly is very happy :)

After Stephanie's we decided to make a stop at the well -known Georgetown Cupcakes.  Its only a 5 minute walk and I mean being full isn't really an excuse for turning down a delicious sweet treat.

"The Cupcake Sisters", Katherine Kallinis Berman and Sophie Kallinis LaMontagne are the co-founders of Georgetown Cupcake and stars of the TLC hit series "DC Cupcakes". After opening their DC store in 2008, the pair opened up additional stores in Baltimore, NYC, LA and of course Newbury Street in Boston!

The shop itself is pretty narrow, but long, with a space for tables in the back. However, I will say, the setup isn't ideal. The cash register is towards the front of the store, which makes for a crowded entry way. There were only about 10 people in line, and it was already started to go out the door. Maybe its a ploy to make it look like the place is always crowded? Hmm...
They have dozens of flavors to choose from including: salted caramel, chocolate ganache, coconut and key lime. I decided to choose the cookies and cream, peanut butter fudge and milk chocolate birthday (vanilla cake with milk chocolate frosting).

The cupcakes were rich and delicious. Not the type you could wolf 3 in one sitting, the type you savor with every little bite.

And check out this sweet blinged-out Kitchen Aid they had in the store! I want itttt..
